Publication of the Book Marriage-Seeking and Marriage-Avoidance in the Scale of Ethics
According to the Public Relations Office of the Quran and Hadith Research Institute, ethics is an essential component of human life, playing a significant role in shaping an individual’s personal and social relationships. On the other hand, marriage is one of the oldest social institutions known throughout human history. In a world where choices have become increasingly diverse, topics such as marriage, singleness, and various forms of relationships remain among the most compelling and controversial social issues.
This book seeks to offer an in-depth examination of diverse attitudes toward marriage in Iran and to address questions that often arise in daily life, such as: Is marriage still valuable? Are those who avoid it making the right decision? Should I get married? Can I pursue an alternative life path that offers greater satisfaction and fulfillment? Have you ever doubted the true meaning of marriage and the process of deciding about it?
Drawing on real-life experiences, scientific studies, and philosophical theories, the author illustrates how marriage and family formation can be considered either an ethical or unethical choice. The book also provides a focused analysis of the value and moral obligation of marriage from the perspective of Islamic ethics.
Marriage-Seeking and Marriage-Avoidance in the Scale of Ethics seeks to enhance awareness and reflection on the concept of ethical marriage. It aims to assist readers in making informed decisions, clarifying ambiguities, and finding the right path—ultimately contributing to the formation of healthy and valuable families.
